About

The School of Behavioral Sciences (SBF) at Chennai Campus is a specialized academic unit focused on the intersection of human behavior, psychology, and the law. The school is dedicated to understanding the criminal mind and applying psychological principles to strengthen the criminal justice system. The School of Behavioral Forensics aims to move beyond traditional investigation by providing specialized education in mental health, clinical psychology, and neuro-cognitive sciences, developing expertise in psychological profiling and forensic interviewing to aid law enforcement. Also. offering diagnostic and therapeutic services to promote the well-being of individuals within the legal framework.

SBF Chennai campus currently offers B.Sc. Criminology and Forensic Science – 3 years UG program with an integrated approach to understanding crime, society, and scientific investigation. Students at SBF Chennai receive hands-on training in sophisticated behavioral forensic techniques.

The mission of the school is to impart evidence based training, education, consultancy and research in the field of mental health, clinical psychology, neuropsychology and behavioral sciences.
